They are located at Bad Schandau, Krippen, surrounded by the
Elbe Sandstone Mountains
- 30 km south - east of the famous capitol of Saxony: Dresden.
The district is called the "Saxon Switzerland", too. Enjoy a nice and panoramic view to the river Elbe, to the historical village "Postelwitz" on the other riverside with the "Seven Brother´s Houses", the "Schrammsteine", "Lilienstein", "Winterberg" (names of well-known hills). There are old steam engined ships and ferries on the river too. Most of them are older than 100 years.
Discover the beautiful, unique Boehmian and Saxon Switzerland. Just start your recreative trekking tours here, in front of our house. The flag stop of the train, the ferry dock and the bus stop are not far away. Elberadweg ist a little path for trekking and bicycling along the river Elbe. The "Caspar-David-Friedrich-Wanderweg" is a trekking path, named after the famous painter, that passes our house. It´s the connection to the "Malerweg" (Painter´s lane, 112 km long) and it leads you to the most beautiful places of the Elbesandstone Mountains.
If you will rent one of our holiday homes, you are able to plan an individual vacation trip. You will be completely autonomous, but inside a big house.
»Elbaussicht« - Krippen is a house with 9 holiday apartments or holiday flats in varying size to accommodate between 1 to 5 persons for you.

Prices for a complete vacation flat vary between 32,00 € and 58,00 € per night, depending on the size of the flat, duration of stay and season. Towels, bed-linen and some other services are included. Children, if living in the holiday flat of their parents and up to the age of 14 years can stay for free.
We have a nice coffee bar here, open from 14 to 18, and also a wonderful terrace to sit, relax,
drinking coffee and have a piece of our real homemade german pies and cakes.

Having breakfast in the morning sun or drinking wine at a romantic sunset and candle light could be an unforgetable experience to you.
If you are travelling by car, we will give you a parking place nearest to the house. We need your booking if you want to rent one of our garages.
You can bring your own bicycles with you and store them in a separate room for free. There are canvas chairs and a lawn for sunbathing, a sauna, a little room for playing table tennis and watching TV, washroom, washing machine, laundry dryer and some more things to use for free. A nice children´s playground and a sports field are near by the house
As an additionally offer we gave a new (up to) 6 MBit/s internet connection to every vacation flat. You can download the "How to configure my computer" - instructions at the menu called "Prospekte".
There is a bakery that delivers bread, breadroll and cake at morning (monday to saturday) to your vacation flat. It´s possible to order bottled water, beer, soda, lemonade or other things for delivery.
We have a little office in the house. So you are able to get information about the village, the sights, trekking or traffic from us directly. We will help as much as we can to make your vacation trip to saxon switzerland unforgettable. If there are any problems, we will try to help you.
