for your vacation in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains (Saxon Switzerland).
Allow us to introduce you to the »Elba view« holiday apartments in the spa town of Bad Schandau. Our holiday apartments are located in the middle of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains - directly on the Elbe Cycle Path in the Krippen district. We have been the owner and operator since 2002.
Through the unobstructed view of the Elbe you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the historic Postelwitz with the "7-Brothers-Houses", the "Schrammsteinen" with its bizarre sandstone cliffs, the "Lilienstein", the "Winterberg" and the passing Elbe ships and historic paddle steamers.
You can get to know or rediscover the beautiful and unique surroundings of Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland. Relaxing hikes and excursions start right outside the front door in summer and winter. The public transport stops are close to the house. The Caspar David Friedrich hiking trail leads directly past our holiday apartments. It is the connection to the 112 km long Malerweg through the most beautiful places in Saxon Switzerland. To the left of the Elbe you can explore the 100 km long forest path. It offers a trekking tour with huts and bivouacs in 7 stages and thus meets the modern zeitgeist.
Renting an apartment in our house enables you to plan and design your vacation in Saxon Switzerland individually. The "Elba view" - cribs has 9 holiday apartments or holiday flats for 1 to 5 people in different sizes. The apartments are attractively furnished, named after excursion destinations in Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland and offer:
Living room and bedroom or living room / bedroom
Small cozy kitchen with dining area
Shower / toilet, hairdryer and make-up mirror
32 "flat screen TV with satellite TV and radio
Internet connection via WLAN (in the apartment, in the building and in the outdoor area)
The price per apartment and night is between 33.00 € and 61.00 €. The price includes towels and bed linen as well as other services (see price list). The price per night for the apartment / APP depends on the size of the apartment, the season and the length of stay. Children up to the age of 13.99 in their parents' apartment are free.
Our pension has a beautiful terrace on the Elbe, which is available to our guests. Breakfast in the morning sun or an evening on the Elbe with wine and candlelight will be a lasting memory of your relaxation in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
If you arrive in Saxon Switzerland by car, there is a parking space or garage available on the property. Advance reservation is required to rent a garage.
The storage of bicycles is free of charge. A lawn with deck chairs, the sauna, the table tennis room and the laundry room with washing machine and dryer can be used by you.
As an additional service, we can provide you with a fully-fledged internet connection with up to 100 Mbit / s free of charge in every holiday apartment, on the terrace and on the lawn.
From Monday to Saturday (except public holidays), from Easter to the end of October, the Gohrischer baker Mario Lauermann offers you the delivery of rolls and bread free of charge.
